of Study Back to Job Announcements Main Faculty Position Associate/Full Professor, Learning and Performance Support Laboratory, University of Georgia The Learning and Performance Support Laboratory (LPSL) (http://lpsl.coe.uga.edu/) is pleased to announce a senior-level, tenure-track research position at the Associate/Full Professor level beginning Fall 2008. We seek an individual with outstanding accomplishments for advancing technology innovation in teaching, learning or performing. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the Lab, College, University, and beyond and maintain a research and development agenda appropriate to his or her interests, including developing proposals for external funding, overseeing project development and implementation, disseminating research through scholarly writing and presentations, mentoring graduate students, and collaborating with faculty on research activities related to the Lab's mission. The candidate will contribute to the instructional and service missions of an academic department, where appointment, tenure and promotion will be determined based upon the candidate's background, expertise and interests. The LPSL is an interdisciplinary research and development unit of the College of Education and The University of Georgia. Affiliated LPSL researchers include university faculty, K-12 educators, and industry partners. LPSL researchers, individually and collaboratively, advance research, theory and practice related to technology's roles in interactive learning environments, teacher preparation and school reform, and assessment. Lab R&D focuses on technology's potential to improve teaching, learning and performing across subject areas (e.g., science, mathematics, etc), age-grade levels (e.g., children's learning, adult professional development, etc), and settings (e.g., preK-12 schools, universities, corporate training, etc).
