The University of Florida invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position to work within the Computer Science Education program in the School of Teaching and Learning. The Computer Science Education program offers an online graduate certificate, an MAE degree, and an Ed.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Computer Science Education. The Computer Science Education program is affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Learning Technologies (IALT), a unit charged with facilitating interdisciplinary collaborative endeavors that will advance scholarship and practices in technology-enhanced learning. The successful applicant will join a collaborative, cohesive, and energetic community of scholars within the College that is committed to high-quality teaching, research, and service.
The Clinical Assistant Professor position will teach and mentor students in online graduate courses associated with the Computer Science Education program; further their scholarship of teaching at meetings of professional organizations and through appropriate publications; and engage in service to the program, school, college, university and profession. This 12-month non-tenure-accruing faculty appointment may begin as early as January 2023 but no later than July 1, 2023.
