Assistant Professor Social Foundations of Education: Race, Power, and Social Justice in Education

Accordingly, we seek an outstanding scholar to join the school in its Department of Educational Theory, Policy and Administration. We seek a tenure-track colleague whose research expertise is in Race and Social Justice in Education with a focus on advancing issues of diversity, access, and equity in education and society. Candidates for this position will have a social science background, a critical theoretical approach, and analysis of power in their scholarship. Attractive candidates will have a focus on race with intersecting expertise in one or more of the following areas: racial capitalism, coloniality, political economy, migration, ethnic studies, indigeneity, critical geographies, and spatial analyses, carcerality, disability studies, queer and trans studies, critical policy studies.
