ISLS membership is for a 12 month calendar year. Joining now will ensure membership and journals for January through December of 2017.
*Please note that we have recently switched over to a new system. If you were not a member in 2015 or 2016 you must create a new account in order to join or renew for 2017. If you are already registered on this site, please see the instructions on this page for Membership Renewal or Changing Membership Plans.
Note that membership in ISLS is by calendar year, (January through December). That is, regardless of when you paid your membership, it is only valid through December of that calendar year. You will need to renew your membership in order to continue access to journals and other membership benefits in the new year.
Join ISLS now with our membership application and be eligible for the following and more:
- Conference discounts — Conference fees for members will always be less than for non-members at ICLS, CSCL, and other conferences that ISLS might sponsor.
To register for CSCL 2017 as a member of ISLS, your 2017 membership must be paid. Click here to become a member or renew your membership.
- Individual subscriptions (print and online) — Members receive free access to the online digital versions of the Journal of the Learning Sciences and the International Journal of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (physical copies of either journal can also be received at an additional cost).
- 25% Discount on ALL books from Springer.
- Discount on MIT Press books.
ISLS membership fees are just $100 US/year ($60 US/year for students).
To join or renew your membership, please use our membership application. You can join online and pay with PayPal or credit card, or opt to pay offline and mail a cheque. Financial regulations in many APAC countries prohibit PayPal transfers to overseas non-profit organizations such as ISLS, and local cheques from many of these same countries also cannot be cashed in US. The current options available for these members are to pay via demand draft or by telegraphic transfer.
