Call for Papers for a JLS Special Issue (2025)

Proposals are solicited for a special issue of the Journal of the Learning Sciences entitled, “Culturally Sustaining Approaches to Assessment In and Beyond School Settings.” This special issue will be published in 2025. The Guest Editors welcome authors to submit their extended abstracts outlining their contribution (approximately 1,000 words, including references) directly to the guest editors via the online form below. Authors from non-dominant groups (Black authors, Indigenous authors, authors of color, queer and trans authors, disabled authors, and others), and intergenerational and multi-national author teams are particularly encouraged to submit work to the special issue.

Please note that the paper proposals (1000-word abstracts) are due June 30, 2023.
