Call for Proposals JLS Special Issue “Other Suns: Designing for Racial Equity through Speculative Education”
Dear ISLS members,
Proposals are solicited for a special issue of the Journal of the Learning Sciences entitled, “Other Suns: Designing for Racial Equity through Speculative Education.” Guest editors Antero Garcia and Nicole Mirra welcome submissions that bring together multiple disciplinary perspectives and innovative methodological approaches to advance theory, practice, and research inspired by speculative theory and guided by a commitment to generative, justice-oriented world-building. Multigenerational and international author teams are particularly encouraged to submit. 500-word abstracts are due June 1st.
